I have a new addiction!
I started crocheting again. It's been a few years but it came right back to me once I started stitching.
Here is a cute little beanie I made with a Puff stitch.
I added some beautiful trims and laces from The Piece By Piece as well as a slider buckle.

This was so fun to alter and will add to the shabby chic decor in my living room/scrap room.
I used the beautiful
and
some beautiful Dentelle Rachel French Lace in Pink
from The Piece by Piece.
Here is a before photo
First I sanded it to scuff it for paint. I added 3 coats of white acrylic paint then added a coat of sealer.
I used a styrofoam cup for the lamp shade
I just cut the top and bottom rims off. Then I wrapped it with seam binding in a diagonal pattern
I cut a circle from clear packaging to add inside the cup with a hole for a candle. I don't recommend lighting a candle in a styrofoam lamp shade, this one is just for looks but I could use a battery operated tea light.
I also used some beautiful I am Roses and made some crystal drops.

I'm so excited to share with you my printers tray for The Piece By Piece Design Team call!
I worked very hard on this a couple weeks ago but wasn't able to share as my daughter had her beautiful Chloe. We are so thrilled and adjusting to having a new beautiful princess in the house.
Now for my project, this was so fun to make. I used many clay pieces, Prima Shabby Treasures, trims, frames, Lindy's Stamp Gang, Romance Novel paper collection, stamps, I Am Roses, and other embellishments.
This started out as a Teddy Bear picture.
It was quite cute but didn't match anything.
I painted the frame white, cut out some cardboard and added some chipboard to create the printers tray.
And here is the finished tray
